Mobile Edge Installs a Hertz Audio System in a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4

Back in May we had a great opportunity to install a complete Hertz Audio System in a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4. What made this job very special is that the customer came all the way from the Philadelphia area to have us work on the vehicle. He found us online while researching Hertz products. He an his son were restoring this vehicle and knew that it needed the best when it came to the audio system.

After several phone conversations, the customer took the drive up to our location and we spoke at length about the install. He auditioned a bunch of speakers and amps and decided to go with a Hertz EP5 5 channel amp, HSX165XL component speakers and an Energy Series subwoofer. The doors were covered with Dynamat to make sure that the speakers could sound as they were meant to: Superb!

As always with Hertz, the end result was nothing short of magical!

NAV-TV Tooki Bluetooth Interface for Porsche Vehicles

Mobile Edge recently installed a NAV-TV Tooki Bluetooth interface in a 2008 Porsche Cayenne. As many Porsche owners are fully aware of, there is not a factory Bluetooth solution available in the US. There is a mobile phone solution available, but it is very costly and cumbersome. NAV-TV has come to the rescue with the Tooki!

The Tooki is a Porsche MOST network interface which adds Bluetooth calling capability to many Porsche’s. The MOST network is a fiber optic communication system that resides inside many new Porsches. When properly installed properly, the Tooki joins this network and allows true handsfree capability all while you phone is tucked in your pocket or purse.

Voice dialing is supported on many phones as is dialing from your phonebook. Of course, you can dial the number on the keypad on the dash. The Tooki allows for maximum flexibility and user friendliness.

2006 Volkswagen Jetta Gets Tinted

At Mobile Edge, we tint A LOT of vehicles. We know that adding window tint not only protects you and your vehicle from UV rays but it also looks great too. Seeing vehicles getting tinted day in and day out can make you a bit numb to the aesthetic reason for tinting. This VW Jetta, however, really stood out! When it came in it looked good… a lot like other Jettas, but good nonetheless. When Bob was finished with it, it was simply great to look at. The tint made it stand out from the crowd!
