Announcing the addition of EGO Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kits
Mobile Edge is proud to announce that we are now an authorized retailer and installer of the EGO line of Bluetooth handsfree kits manufactured by German company, Funkwerk. The EGO line is comprised of 5 different models. They range in price from $119 for their basic EGO-CUP to over $800 for the fully featured EGO DRIVE which features full GPS navigation with a 4.3″ touchscreen.
With traffic laws becoming tougher and some states even banning the use of mobile phones without the use of a handsfree device, the need for quality systems is growing. Funkwerk (formerly Raytel) has perfected the product. All units feature a very functional noise and echo canceling circuit that improves in car use and greatly reduces road noise.
Some models offer voice control and can download your phone book (up to 10,000 entries!). The EGO LOOK comes with a 2.3″ high def screen (it really looks great) and can stream you music via bluetooth (requires a compatible phone or device).
The EGO-CUP is a plug and play device, while the EGO-FLASH, EGO-TALK, EGO-LOOK AND EGO-DRIVE, require professional installation. Of course, we can do that! In some instances, we are able to have the audio play through your existing stereo systems and in others, we install a small auxiliary speaker out of sight under your dash.
I have been selling and installing handsfree kits for nearly 14 years and I can definitely say that the sound quality and functionality of the EGO line is just about the best I have ever heard. They are intuitive to use and the look great in your car. They are not an eyesore that stick out like the old school handsfree kits.
Mobile Edge will be doing informative product reviews on the EGO line over the course of the next several weeks. If you would like to audition one of these units, please stop in with your bluetooth enabled phone and we will be happy to show you how good these devices really are.
As an added incentive, now through April 19, take an addition 10% off any EGO handsfree device.
