Essentially, it states that iTunes is now the number 2 retailer of music in the US. Second only to Walmart and nudging BestBuy to 3rd. It goes on to say that iTunes will overtake Walmart by the end of the year in music sales.
This is an amazing statistic considering the service is not that old. It really outlines the fact that more and more people are using iPods and other MP3 devices for listening to their music.
