When the National News Media Wanted an Expert, They Called Mobile Edge
Several weeks ago, I was approached by the automotive editor for a large national media company. This company supplies the websites for regional networks TV stations (think WNEP in Wilkes-Barre and KYW in Philadelphia). He asked if I would be willing to be interviewed for a story he was writing on iPod, HD radio and Satellite Radio. I said sure, but was interested to know how he found us and why he picked Mobile Edge?
He said that he found my site on the net and then did some research. He said that after looking around it was clear that we were experts in our field… WOW! This was extremely cool coming from a national news outlet!
So we did the first interview and we ended up with this story. It was a very cool story and I believe that it helped to raise awareness for many people in many areas about what is available in their cars.
We decided to do another interview on a story for remote car starters. That interview was posted on all of their sites this morning. The response has been overwhelming… I have gotten many emails from people nationwide, complimenting the quality of our information.
First we are nominated for Retailer of the Year by Mobile Electronics Magazine and Now this. It really hammers home the fact that I have an excellent crew working for me and that we are well respected by our customers and our peers. More to come…
