Mobile Edge Tech Talk Podcast
I am happy to announce that we have completed our first Mobile Edge podcast today. Why would we have a podcast? Simple. We are serious about making www.MobileEdgeOnline.com a destination for people wanting quality information about aftermarket electronics for your car.
Part of what we are doing is a series of conversations with our vendors. Tech guys, sales guys, owners, we are going to speak with all of them. I want you to understand, right from the horses mouth what makes our brands special.
Some of the podcasts will be of a technical nature, while others will be more “check this new toy out”.
Our first episode is a conversation with Larry Frederick from Elettromedia USA, the distributor for the Hertz and Audison brands here in the states. He is a true car audio guru and one of the best in the industry. Just listen and you will understand.
As the owner of Mobile Edge, I have always used the tools that were available to me to communicate with my customers. Podcasts are a great way to do this. You don’t even have to be one of our customers. If you shop at a competitor, or are from Australia, I don’t care. I just hope that you can take something out of what we are doing. I hope that it allows you to make more informed choices which enhance your time spent in your car.
You don’t need an iPod (though I think everyone should own one!)… you can listen to our podcasts on any computer and many hand held devices. I’m pretty sure that these podcasts will start to show up in iTunes soon so you can subscribe to them there soon also.
Just click on “select past episode” and select the one that you want. Then hit the play button. We put a widget in the sidebar at the right so that it is always easy to get to. You can even subscribe to the Podcast RSS feed so that you are always notified when a new podcast is available.
And finally, if you have any ideas for a future podcast, please click the ASK US link at the top and tell me your thoughts. I’m always looking for new ideas.

Great job Mitch, very informative. Of course, I already have Hertz speakers and an Audison amp, but I’ll be in soon for my Subs, and hopefully soon after that for that Bit One!
The information was very helpful and gave me that piece of mind. I currently own the Compustar Pro and I’m very satisfied with it. I have the remote 2 way with the remote combo which I found very convenient, especially during the cold spells we get in PA because I use it endlessly to warm the car before getting in to it. The distance it transmits is just unbelievable, and I should have discovered this product four years ago. I never thought I would become a victim of my equipment being stollen, summer of 2005 I owned a 1987 Honda CRX with all Visonik car audio that I installed myself. I approached my car Sunday morning and made the upsetting discovery, the rear driver side window was shattered and my system was gone. All they left behind was the wire from the battery that supplied the 12 volts to the capacitor. When I am arming my security system( P2WSSR), I walk away with a piece of mind and I can move on.
