2008 Kia Sedona Backup Sensor Installation
One of our car dealer accounts called to have us install a basic backup sensor setup in a 2008 Kia Sedona. We explained to them all of the various options that are available. We can install everything from a simple audible warning system to a backup camera with the distance to an obstacle superimposed on the screen! We can even integrate this into certain factory in dash screens!
Turns out, this customer backs into a garage every day and they only needed something that would alert them audibly when they are getting too close to a wall. We went with a basic Steelmate system. Four sensors were installed symmetrically, along the center of the back bumper. The wires for the sensors were carefully hidden and run up to a receiver unit behind the dash… The device sounds an audible “beeping” sound that increases in speed as the customer gets closer to an obstacle.
The dealer was happy, the customer was happy and Mobile Edge had another quality installation out on the street!
