Mitch opened the doors to his business on September 6, 1994. Back then, Mobile Edge was called Schaffer’s Safe & Sound. He realized that the area between Allentown and Wilkes-Barre was not served by any quality car audio stores. He rolled the dice many years later, Mobile Edge continues to be a leader in the industry.
Mitch is a lifelong resident of the area. A 1989 graduate of Lehighton High School, he spent the first 33 years of his life in Lehighton. He now resides in Kunkletown with his wife, Marcia and their 3 cats.
Currently, Mitch splits his time between Mobile Edge and his other company, 1sixty8 media, which is a full service marketing agency for the mobile enhancement industry. His growing client list includes some of the top retailers in the businesses.
As active participants in the sport of CrossFit, Mitch and Marcia are constantly challenging themselves. One of Mitch’s recent accomplishments was completing his first half marathon with a sub 2 hour time without training.
