A recent client from Jim Thorpe was looking to add Bluetooth and USB charging to his 2001 BMW 325XI found Mobile Edge by way of our online reviews. After we listened to the client explain what he wanted, we presented him with the option of adding the iSimple TranzIt ISFM2351 to give him hands-free Bluetooth capabilities in the vehicle.
For the client’s charging solution, we recommended the Metra IBR74 dual-USB pass-through extension to replace the cigarette lighter in the dash and two Axxess AXUSBCP single chargers on the rear of the center console for his rear passengers’ convenience. The client agreed with our recommendations.
Our team began the installation by carefully removing all related dash and console panels, as well as the cigarette lighter from the dash. Then, we routed the appropriate wires for each of the components and made sure every connection was secure. Once the installation was complete, we walked the client through operating the Bluetooth module and showed him the addition of the USB charging. He was pleased!
