This client from Lehighton came to us looking for a complete Pontiac Grand Am stereo system upgrade. He wanted quality equipment but he didn’t want to break the bank. Being the car audio experts that we are, we had the perfect solution for him!
Grand Am Stereo Upgrade
We upgraded his front speakers with a pair of Memphis PR462V2 coaxes. In the back, we went with a set of PR693V2’s to perfectly compliment the fronts. The in-dash radio was replaced with a JVC deck. The client wanted something with USB and the KDR540 filled the bill.
For bass we added a Powerbass 800 watt amplifier and two 12″ Powerbass subs in a tuned, ported enclosure. We added a 1 farad capacitor to make sure that current is available for the amp when this Grand Am stereo system is rockin’!
The end result was a great sounding system with plenty of bass that will clearly make for one very happy client!
