A repeat client from Palmerton reached out to us about getting the front side windows tinted on his 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 to match the factory tint on the rear windows. He thought the truck would look better with the colors all the same shade, and also wanted to help keep his truck cool and prevent interior damage from the sun’s rays.
We discussed several window tint film options, and selected 3M Color Stable window film at 20%, which would perfectly match the factory tint. The nano-carbon black color blends with many OEM window tint shades very well, and the color will last for years with no discoloration. This film blocks 99% of the harmful UV rays and 57% of total solar energy that can penetrate a vehicle without tint. We also applied a visor strip to prevent glare from affecting his vision and to reduce glare while driving.
