A client from Andreas contacted Mobile Edge about a 2007 Lincoln MKZ audio system upgrade. He wanted a new radio with CarPlay and Android Auto, and a backup camera, and was hoping to improve the sound of the stereo with a subwoofer.
After looking at the vehicle, we showed the client the Pioneer AVH-4200NEX multimedia receiver and let him connect his smartphone to it. We installed the radio in the dash of the Lincoln and added an integration module to allow the steering wheel-mounted radio controls to work with the new radio. We added a rear vision camera that lets the client see everything behind the vehicle when backing up. We also installed a Memphis SA112SP-powered subwoofer enclosure in the trunk to improve the performance of the sound system.
The client asked us if we could tint the Lincoln’s windows. After we demonstrated the features of the different tint films we offer, the client chose 3M Color Stable tint in a 20% shade.
The client was thrilled with the upgrades we made to his car.
